Summer crazy fun!!

Life has been pretty great around here!! I just love summer!! So first, my cousin Brenneck got his mission call!! He is seriously such an awesome guy, and gonna make an AWESOME missionary!!

Next we had to try out the worlds best corn dogs!! They were pretty amazing.. And as a plus.. The guy selling them welcomed us to heaven as we ordered!!

We got shaved ice.. A new experience that I had yet to try.. And it was delicious too!! Mostly I noticed that it was the perfect evening.. So if you missed it.. Then you missed an important day.. Sorry!

My niece came swimming in this attire.. And when I asked if I could take her pictures she was all to happy to pose for me!!

Joni finished her first half marathon!! She is way too cool for me!! It was fun to see her so excited!!

I tried out Beto's infamous breakfast burrito! Also delicious!!

So basically it sums up to.. I eat a lot!! Ha!! It's been a pretty great summer and I have just been soaking up the sun and loving it!!

Sunday Evenings

I love Sunday evenings!! We eat dinner as a family and then just hang out, talk, go for walks, sleep, joke, look at pictures and just enjoy calling each other family. This week my dad tried on my sunglasses.. And he totally has the attitude!! Ha!! My dad is awesome!!

Lazy hazy days of summer!!

Ok so quick update on my very exciting life! Ha! I bought a new duvet cover.. My old one was purchased when I was in 6th grade! Yes I totally wore it down to the threads!! (Unfortunately actually because it had a giant hole on the top!)

Haha!! My sister pinned a website on Pinterest that will make you invitations based on colors and wording that you choose.. And of course I made my wedding announcement!!

Happy Mother's Day!!

So I tried to get these photos in the right order... but I'm having issues doing that so they may be shuffled... which is extra fun!! 

 

This is a beautiful flower growing in my sister's yard... she has the best eye for picking out plants and landscaping!! She always has cool exotic plants that just pop up out of no where!!

 My FAVORITE flower ever... (mostly because it always blooms the week of my birthday.. or sometimes a little before... but I love lilacs!) We gave my mom this plant like 5 years ago and how pretty is it?! (if you find yourself answering out loud that question was meant to be rhetorical...)

Happy Mother's Day!!  I am lucky and have the most awesome and wonderful Mom's of all time!!  She is always around to help me out when I'm in a bind..and is usually the first to offer to help me when I am stubborn and not admitting to myself that I'm in a bind!  This year was the best day for mother's day... seriously I haven't seen such perfect weather in forever!!  We all sat out in the back yard and watched the crazy nieces go wild!!

 

 

Being the perfect Mom and Grandma... my mom purchased a blow up ball for the girls to play with... and I might have jumped in also...

Not only is my mom awesome anyway... but she also let my ward go up to my parents cabin overnight!!  We had so much fun and stayed up way to late giggling!

 This was a very serious NERTZ game... they took it very seriously and some injuries did incur!!

 

 Awesome Callie was in charge of the activity and had STREP throat but she did everything anyway and never even complained!!  I guess she doesn't know that you get no pity if you suffer in silence!!

 I got tired but everyone else wasn't ready to go to sleep yet so I made me a comfy bed in the closet and slept like a rock... and probably still would be asleep if Joni and Callie hadn't come and woken me up at... 10AM... I have no idea how I slept in that late?!

We had so much fun!!  It was just laid back and lots of relaxing!!
