Cute 'lil Bugs!

So my mom has been out of town this week so I have gotten to watch the cute little nieces... So here are a couple cute pictures of what we have been up to this week...

 First of all we all spent the week enjoying the sunshine!!

 Ellie came over and ran laps around me... literally!!  She is a little ball of ENERGY... and ran and ran and ran... so I was a good aunt and sat by the tree and watched her run around... after all I didn't want to exercise too much.. might make me less lazy!!

HAA!!  Ellie found a friend... and although it looks like she is pushing her down... she isn't!!  Actually this little girl was probably 18 months old and Ellie felt deeply offended that she only giggled and didn't talk... She talked about her friend that laughed to her face all afternoon...

 Avery is growing older and older and getting cuter and cuter... she actually makes expressions now!!  We can sometimes even make her sort of giggle!!

 Please notice the adorable outfit... I'm pretty sure this is one me and my mom found at Second Chance when Ellie was a baby... its still ADORABLE!!

No pictures of Alana this week... guess by the time she got home from school I was exhausted trying to keep up napping at the same time as the little kids.. its hard work napping at the same time as a 10 month old and 3 year old... Yea I'm just lazy!!  Happy Spring!!

Spring is Springing!!

It is really starting to feel, smell and look like spring!!  I am so excited... I love winter, but sometimes it is nice to go outside and not want to run back inside 30 seconds later!!  Its been pretty much the same as usual around here... but that is something I have come to depend upon.. if things change I start to hyperventilate!!  So just some more pictures of things that I happened to be doing...

I was babysitting Ellie and it was nap time... so I was in the living room and she kept yelling funny stories at me.. anything to keep herself awake... she is a cute little monster!!  So I went outside to get out of the house for 2 minutes so she would get bored and fall asleep... AND it worked!! Once she turns off her brain she is out like a light.. but it takes a lot to get her to shut off her brain!!

It may seem weird to take a picture of her asleep... but I wanted to remember this moment of peace and quiet.. it just doesn't happen very often around her!!

Haha!! This cracks me UP!!  This is my niece Alana and her friend... I love how serious they look!!

We took Avery to see the chicks at CAL ranch!!  they were adorable!!  If they didn't grow up to be chickens I would want one!!

I got bored on Sunday afternoon so I went and took some pictures at the pond down the street!!

Then I got cold and bored of the pond so I drove up to the temple to take some pictures... I think I need to find something more productive to do... but I thought it was fun... and nice to have pictures of the sunshine in case the weather changes and we get 10 feet more of snow!!

Life lately according to the Iphone...

 Little monster Avery learned how to pull herself up... unfortunately she didn't learn how to get down at the same time... so usually she gets this look after she stands up.  I was watching her the other day and she woke up in the crib and pulled herself up against the back of the crib (the side that is much higher) and had gotten stuck... so I found her screaming hanging off the back of the crib... I shouldn't laugh... :)

 Joni and I went to our very first Zumba class!!  It was pretty crazy but we had some fun! (You can't tell in this picture... but we dressed as twins to be funny.. we are hilarious!)

 Avery has been loving the play car... and it makes Ellie JEALOUS!!  Apparently all the toys everywhere belong to Ellie.  She said to my mom "Just because I can talk really good doesn't mean I'm not a baby anymore... don't let Avery TOUCH my toys!!!" HA!!! (some people call it youngest child syndrome... but I disagree with that extremely rude statement!!)

 I was really sad that I missed IHOP coming to work to make pancakes on national pancake day... so I convinced my mom to make it for dinner and went to her house!!!  (I'm the BEST daughter in the whole world!!)

 Ellie made Callie a get well card! You should know that the scribble on the side is He-Man and She-Ra to help Callie fight to feel better... oh Ellie is so thoughtful!! (Yes it is disturbing that those are her favorite TV shows.. when I watch her we ALWAYS have to watch He-Man... blah!)  Ellie also suggested to Cindy and Brent that they should name their baby He-Man... yes she is soo creative!

 This was a big moment... Ellie let me get her dressed in normal girl clothes and do her hair...

 My mom went to RC Willies to buy office chairs.. this is what she came home with!!! Alana is willing to squash herself inside to ride it!!

 My grandparents celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary!!  Woot Woot!!  So my family surprised them by visiting them at the Joseph Smith Memorial building where they are missionaries!!  I had to work that night so I missed it.... but my mom sent me this awesome picture!!

 After work one morning there was a REALLY beautiful sunrise!!

 I watched Avery the other day... she looked like this for about 15 minutes and then SCREAMED the rest of the night!!  She tends to be a little dramatic about her mom leaving...

 I got to make the centerpieces for my stake relief society conference... I had a LOT of fun shopping and creating things for it!!  It isn't very often that I use my right side of my brain and it looks ok!!

 This picture is from KSL!!! My niece is FAMOUS... although she might resent that she had to be fed to a bear to get there...

 Callie has been trying to curl my hair... and make it stay... and she had a breakthrough!!  Look at my pretty curls!! (yes I am pretty all the time!!)
